"Poopy Playtime..." gives special edd a title worth checking twice

Two new horror uploads pair puppet scares with Roblox's Monochrome.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Poopy Playtime...

Check the spelling first. Eddie's "Poopy Playtime..." prompted a small double-take in the comments, with viewers saying they initially read Poppy Playtime or assumed the title contained a typo. It was the most-watched of special edd's two new uploads, reaching about 709,000 views.

The description introduces another puppet horror game, while viewers draw comparisons with both Poppy Playtime and Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. The title confusion is its own running joke, but the comments also get into familiar horror-game territory: which encounters resemble other games, and where Eddie missed an unlock button.

"Monochrome Is TERRIFYING... (Roblox)" supplied the other new outing. Eddie's brief description, "roblox got me again," sets the tone without needing much elaboration. It has reached roughly 600,000 views and is currently drawing more daily views than the puppet-horror upload. Just outside the week's releases, "Happy Wheels Is Back" is also among the catalog's busiest videos.

The channel added subscribers over the week, edging closer to six million, though today's viewing is well below its usual daily level. Nearby variety-gaming channels have mixed rhythms: CheapPickle had a substantial viewing week, while Let's Game It Out and Hollow are also having much slower days than usual. For Eddie, the newest Roblox scare is doing the most daily work, even as the spelling joke belongs to "Poopy Playtime...".
