Foster kids' names on a fence picket, and a swing under the brush

Satisfying-Lawn's three new Shorts all dig into overgrown yards of elderly owners, while a six-week-old story about Miss Loretta has passed 1.5 million views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Satisfying-Lawn posted three Shorts in seven days. Each one makes the same promise: cut back the jungle, and something someone loved turns up underneath.

The most watched of them belongs to Harold. The description bills him as an 80-year-old who refused to let the city tear down his rotting fence. He and his late wife fostered children for 30 years, and every child painted their name on a picket. As the trimmer clears the boards, a passerby named Annie stops at the curb and finds her own name, then asks whether the swing is still out back. Viewers have answered in two ways. Many thank the crew for helping where neighbors did not. Plenty of others simply ask for part two.

Two days later came Margaret, a widow of 54 years in the same house, according to the description. Under six feet of brush she found the porch swing her husband Charlie built, with a carved heart that reads "C + M - Save Me A Seat." Midweek, a third widow story followed.

The bigger draw is still older. "For 15 Years, They Blamed Her for the Weeds," Miss Loretta's tale of a neighbor's creeping fence, is six weeks old and well past a million and a half views. A story about a retired bricklayer facing down an HOA president is not far behind it. The videos' tags point to lawn care around Wichita, Kansas.

The channel picked up about 4,000 subscribers and now has 349,000. Its views ran a little below its usual pace. Among the story channels near its size, Rako is the one having a very big week, and Reddit Report is running well above its normal pace.
