Would you pass? Samson's Whitetail Mountain lets two bucks walk by

The view from an elevated blind brings large antlers close to the camera, but viewers keep returning to the subject of ear tags.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 123,562 views a day, 7.7 times a normal first day on this channel (15,954).

The camera points down from a hunting blind as a large whitetail buck approaches along a dirt clearing. Another buck stands farther down the path. Inside the blind, a hunter in camouflage is looking at a mobile device.

That contrast gives Samson's Whitetail Mountain's latest Short its question: would you let this deer pass? The first buck walks directly beneath the elevated position, giving the camera a close view of its antlers. No shot is shown.

The clip drew roughly 60,000 views in eight hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day Shorts audience. Its comment section had also grown to more than four times its usual first-day size.

Much of that conversation turns away from antler size. Several viewers say an ear tag would be their reason to pass; others speculate about the cost of a hunt. Those suggested prices are not established by the video. The channel belongs to Jerry Stafford's privately owned Southern Illinois estate, which offers whitetail and elk hunts.

Unlike the channel's recent bow-shot clips, this one leaves the decision hypothetical. The camera pulls back into the blind, then follows the deer along the forest edge toward the trees.
