Fall arrived early. Sam Shan Shops, the channel whose about text still bills it as Amazon product reviews for Canada and the US, spent the week in full autumn-kitchen mode, with three new shorts built around pumpkins and Halloween.
The newest, "Soooky spiderweb deviled eggs," typo and all, went up on September 30 and drew more than 110,000 views in its first day. A few days earlier came pumpkin pie s'mores skillets, tagged as an air fryer recipe, which has passed 650,000 views. The third was a gentler detour, a paint-pumpkins-with-me craft session filed under ASMR, and it found a smaller, quieter crowd.
The busiest video on the channel right now is not from this week at all. "Cheeseburger lunchables for my kids," a homemade take on the school-lunch snack box, is fifteen days old, past three million views and still drawing around as many daily views as anything newer. Halloween puppy chow, eight days old, has crossed a million. The deviled eggs are already running at much the same daily pace as those two, so all three are moving almost in step, the old lunchbox included.
Among the food channels closest in size, Chef Nick and Ballerina Farm are the ones running well above their usual daily pace. Sam Shan Shops sits sixth of nine by subscribers, with 2.1 million of them.
