Cozy dressmaking gets RTGame's not-so-cozy treatment
Two new livestream highlights pair improbable fashion with a deliberately cruel Cities Skylines 2 build.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Ruined Dressmaker: The Cozy Dress Making Game
A dress nicknamed after Capri-Sun is not the obvious outcome of a cozy sewing game, but it has become a recurring reference in RTGame's comments. His most-watched new upload, "I Ruined Dressmaker: The Cozy Dress Making Game," drew roughly 679,000 views, with viewers discussing both the joke outfits and the moments when he took the designing seriously.
Prudence's colorful funeral dress gets particular attention. Several commenters describe that request as the point where the playful sabotage gave way to genuine concentration; others contrast it with what he later made for Marie. One viewer draws a gentler lesson from the chaos: enjoying a game needn't depend on doing everything neatly or correctly.
The channel's other new release, "I Made A Needlessly Cruel Hell City in Cities Skylines 2," takes that mischievous approach back to urban planning. Its description promises a perfect city where nothing bad happens, a joke the title rather efficiently dismantles. It attracted the stronger first-day audience and is now the channel's busiest upload, while last month's Minecraft history-building project also continues drawing views.
These are edited highlights of RTGame's own Twitch streams, made by him and editor Ashtaric (Cloé). Across the channel, daily viewing is now more than twice its usual level, although the subscriber total was unchanged over the week. Nearby in variety gaming, Joe Bart Games had a particularly busy week, while PointCrow's daily viewing was a little below its usual pace. For RTGame, the new material offers two very different scales of creative mismanagement: an entire city, or somebody's next outfit.
