Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Breeder Trailer #1 (2026)

Rotten Tomatoes Indie posted four trailers, ranging from an ominous research-funding offer to a family's preparations for winter in the mountains. The clips channel's biggest new draw was "Breeder Trailer #1 (2026)", with roughly 47,000 views.

Alex Goyette's horror film sends a broke college student to a remote ranch, where an eccentric poodle breeder offers funding with a catch. Daniel Doheny, Dot Marie Jones and Maddie Phillips star. In the comments, Jones' work on Glee provides a point of recognition: she played football coach Shannon Beiste. Another viewer celebrates seeing a Vancouver indie project reach a wider audience.

Breeder also has the most daily momentum among the channel's highlighted uploads. Next comes "The Last Temptation of Becky Trailer #1 (2026)", which gives Lulu Wilson's character a CIA assignment in Poland and an inn concealing a neo-Nazi plot. Neil Patrick Harris and Kate Siegel join the cast, with Jenn Wexler directing.

The other arrivals offer different kinds of isolation. Andrew Haigh's "A Long Winter Trailer #1 (2027)" brings together a cast including Caitriona Balfe, Fred Hechinger and Kit Connor for a mountain-set family story. Maryam Azadi's "The Friend's House Is Here Trailer #1 (2026)" follows two young women whose freedom within Iran's underground art scene is threatened when their creative circle is exposed.

Across the catalog, daily viewing is a little below its usual pace, while the subscriber count was unchanged over the week. Nearby in the film-channel neighborhood, Warner Bros. Classics had a particularly substantial week for views. Rotten Tomatoes Indie's own fresh slate, meanwhile, put its strongest spotlight on the smallest-sounding invitation: research funding at a poodle ranch.
