A parking warden, a church and a 'punch' in Reesebros' newest skit
"One of the most high pressure jobs there is…" passed 440,000 views in its first week, and its comments keep coming back to that ending.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
One of the most high pressure jobs there is…
"One of the most high pressure jobs there is…" is the newest sketch on Reesebros, the Australian brothers' comedy channel, and the job in question is parking enforcement. Going by the comments, a ticket gets written outside a church, strangers step in, and the ending lands hard enough that plenty of viewers admit they thought the hit was real.
The comment section turns into a small club of people with their own parking-warden stories, including a former inspector who says he barely wrote any tickets. Others single out the music, the Joker theme from The Dark Knight building under the standoff, and one viewer spots a family-loyal Toretto in the mix. It drew about 200,000 views on its first day and has passed 440,000 since.
A second upload followed three days later, a sketch whose title jokes about getting done for impersonating someone. Neither new video carries the channel, though. That job falls to a six-week-old mechanic sketch, "Nothing excites a mechanic like the car they'll never have to fix," which is past 11 million views and still draws far more daily viewers than anything newer. An Indonesia holiday clip about three weeks of earning and one week of spending is moving too.
The channel as a whole is running well below its usual pace, with subscribers up by about 2,000. That puts Reesebros in the middle of the clips and comedy channels around its size, where Smirk and LADbible Ireland are drawing the biggest crowds and Juliet Ranks is running above its normal level.

@williamg782See it on YouTubeI was a parking inspector for about 9 months and in that time I had only handed out 19 tickets
I really didn't care for the job, most the time I'd just mark the tire, come back and then just mark the tire again. The only people who really got tickets were the ones who couldn't park properly and ruin it for everyone else@FartSuckerUmadSee it on YouTubeLoved the drive by stare
