Solo Minecraft scares and oversized spiders on realCheapPickle

Two new horror uploads join a viewer-submitted Belowland mod that has reached nearly 150,000 views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I Played the Scariest Minecraft Mod I Could Find

Going alone drew the crowd. "I Played the Scariest Minecraft Mod I Could Find" was realCheapPickle's most watched new upload, reaching about 48,000 views after CheapPickle went searching for a horror mod to play by himself.

The comments offer two different plans for more scares. Several viewers want a solo series playing The Broken Script, while others would bring in the Goofy Gang, with AL1 and Esta among the names suggested. Those are requests for another outing, not confirmation of which mod appears here.

His other new upload makes the choice of game rather personal. In "Playing a Spider Horror Game With Arachnophobia," CheapPickle says he's terrified of spiders and picked the game anyway. The description's extra warning is their size; the tags identify the game as Lurking. It has a smaller total audience than the Minecraft upload, but is currently drawing slightly more daily views.

Both sit alongside "A Viewer Sent Me a Minecraft Horror Mod..." in the channel's most active collection. That older outing involves Belowland, sent in by a viewer who told him to try it. Apparently, choosing the scares yourself isn't the only option on this second channel.

The subscriber audience grew over the week, while today's viewing is close to its usual level. Among nearby variety-gaming channels, Jack & Oscar is having a notably busier viewing day than usual, and Fyrus is quieter. For realCheapPickle, the useful contrast is within its own horror collection: a viewer's recommendation, a solo Minecraft search and a spider game he knowingly chose despite his fear.
