On a usual day, Peter Sripol's channel draws around sixty thousand views. This week it ran noticeably under that, with no new upload to push it along, so the back catalog did the flying.

It is his account of taking on the defense research agency's heavy-lift drone contest, and the title already tells you how the prize went. At about two weeks old, it is still gathering views at nearly the pace of the cardboard plane. Third is a trip in the opposite direction, "Making Nano sized RC Airplanes!", from earlier in the year.
The whole aviation-and-machines corner had a softer stretch. Mentour Pilot and Diesel Creek both ran well below their usual pace, and even Aaron Rheins, far and away the busiest channel in the group, drew less than normal. Among these channels, PeterSripol sits third by subscribers.
