Gambling in games that aren't about gambling carries PBG
The 43-day-old video has passed 224,000 views, and nothing new went up behind it.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Gambling in Non-Gambling Games - PBG
No uploads, no fuss. PeanutButterGamer posted nothing this week, so the channel ran on its back catalog, and one video from mid-August did most of the lifting.
That one is "Gambling in Non-Gambling Games - PBG," and it is still gathering views at a few times the pace of anything else he has up. Behind it sit two older favorites that fit his long habit of digging through odd corners of gaming history: a run through every Arthur Flash game, now well over two years old and past 700,000 views, and a haul of strange GameCube accessories from the spring. Arthur, of course, is the aardvark from the long-running PBS Kids cartoon, which spun off a surprising pile of browser games.
The subscriber count held still around two million. Across the gaming commentary channels his size, almost everyone was running below their usual pace, Scott The Woz, BeatEmUps and DKOldies.com included, so a quiet stretch put PBG in plenty of company.
