Escaping the Minecraft Underworld

Parrot's channel ran at exactly its usual daily pace, and nearly a third of that came from a single new video. "Escaping the Minecraft Underworld" went up on September 22 as the week's only upload. It is now close to six million views and still pulling hard, well ahead of everything else on the channel.

The two videos behind it are older and bigger. "1000 Players Simulate Mining Prison in Minecraft" has passed eleven million at 23 days, and "I Built Minecraft's Most Advanced Civilization" is above ten million at 47 days. Both are still drawing steady crowds, but at a gentler pace than the underworld escape. Subscribers kept arriving at a brisk clip too.

Among Minecraft creators, Parrot sits seventh of nine by subscribers but fourth for daily views, behind Milo and Chip, Firelight and Knoxy. Milo and Chip is in a lane of its own right now, while iBallisticSquid, with a similar subscriber count, is having a much quieter time. For a channel that posted once, Parrot's single upload did plenty of work.
