Golf bestie and I get way too honest ft. Tisha Alyn

What happens when two friends from junior golf meet again with cameras rolling? The newest HOT BIRDS episode answers it at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Southern California, where Paige Spiranac plays with Tisha Alyn, a creator and entrepreneur she has known since their junior days.

The description promises a candid round, and the topics bear it out: how Tisha built her own clothing brand from nothing, how to make golf more welcoming for women, her love life and her experience of coming out. Viewers mostly talk about how relaxed the two seem together, and about the putting. A challenge that sends the loser into the ocean gets plenty of mentions, especially a fake-out run toward the water. Tisha herself turned up underneath to thank Paige for having her.

The episode went up on October 1 and passed 150,000 views, and it is still the channel's busiest video. Five shorter uploads followed, several of them cut from the same day: "There's one putt standing between us and the Pacific" is that ocean putt, and "10 years later... same us, new shenanigans." points back to the friendship. The newest two lean on Paige's own stories, from her most embarrassing moment on a course to the tale behind seven hole-in-ones, and both started fast.

The channel overall ran a little slower than usual, with subscribers steady at around 488,000. Among the sports channels near its size, RIP Disc Golf had the big week by a wide margin, while Sky Sports and Stephen Hendry's Cue Tips also ran below their usual pace.
