Halloween 4 (1988) Commentary with @TheBadMovieBible and Nick Helm

The guests have talking points. Oliver Harper's "Halloween 4 (1988) Commentary with @TheBadMovieBible and Nick Helm" brings Rob Hill and comedian Nick Helm into the discussion of Michael Myers' return, drawing about 8,000 views since Friday.

The 1988 sequel brought Myers back after Halloween III: Season of the Witch took the series into a separate story. That detour is a point of discussion in the replies, alongside the fourth film's opening credits and whether keeping Myers in face bandages for the whole movie might have worked. One viewer also remembers recognizing Brady actor Sasha Jenson in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. These are the little connections that make a retrospective commentary more than a plot recap.

The new commentary is Harper's most active video right now, but the fantasy shelf has not gone quiet. "The Neverending Story II (1990) Retrospective/Review" has reached roughly 126,000 views and continues drawing a substantial daily audience. "Masters of the Universe (1987) 4K BLU-RAY Review" offers a different sort of revisit: Harper compares the release with LaserDisc, DVD and earlier Blu-ray editions.

Subscribers were unchanged over the week, while today's viewing is a little above Harper's usual daily pace. Among nearby film-commentary channels, Patrick Tomasso also had an unchanged subscriber count, though Harper added more weekly views. Here, the week's activity spans two familiar pleasures: talking through an old sequel with company and checking how another looks on a newer disc.
