Flop or foul? Ryan Clark's take on Pat Bryant fills No Huddle Shorts' comments

The pass interference flag on Josh Wallace in the Rams' Week 3 loss in Denver drew talk at more than six times the clips channel's usual pace, even though the views stayed ordinary.

Why this story? The video drew 556 comments in its first day, 6.6 times a normal first day on this channel (84).

Pat Bryant FLOP Won Broncos The Game 😳Pat Bryant FLOP Won Broncos The Game 😳

More than 700 comments, most of them from people rewinding the same few seconds of football. No Huddle Shorts, a channel that cuts NFL podcasts and interviews into quick clips, posted a moment from The Pivot in which Ryan Clark goes off about one flag. The title puts it bluntly: "Pat Bryant FLOP Won Broncos The Game 😳".

The play came in the Week 3 meeting between the Los Angeles Rams and the Denver Broncos. The description says Rams defensive back Josh Wallace was called for pass interference against Bryant, Denver's receiver, and that the call cost Los Angeles the game. Clark, the former Steelers safety who co-hosts The Pivot with Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder, sees a receiver selling contact.

In its first day the short drew comments about six and a half times faster than a usual first day on the channel, while its views were right at the normal level. Most of that talk is film study. Some viewers point to Bryant tugging the defender's shoulder. Many more say the clip starts too late and skips Wallace pushing the receiver for several strides before the ball arrived. Even a few Broncos supporters admit they would have thrown the flag.

The most-liked comment is not about this play at all. It reaches back to the Rams' 2019 NFC Championship win over the Saints, decided in part by a pass interference penalty that was never called, and asks Los Angeles fans whether they remember what they said back then.

What viewers say

  • As a Broncos fan, that's pass interference 😂😂
  • What really changed the game was the Broncos came back from a 16 pt deficit. That call wouldn’t have mattered if the Rams didn’t blow the two score lead they had.
  • Rams what were yall saying about the saints back in the day?
