Giannis couldn't be stopped 😤 #NBA #giannisantetokounmpo #miamiheat

Getting the ball into the basket is not the disputed part. Under NBA Europe's new Giannis Antetokounmpo Short, viewers are counting the steps that come before it.

The channel bills the clip with the words "Giannis couldn't be stopped." Its audience has a rules question instead: where does the gather end and the permitted footwork begin? Several comments call the move a travel; another offers a detailed defense based on when the player gains control of the ball. Those are viewers' interpretations, not an officiating verdict.

The Short has drawn about 51,000 views in nineteen hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for the format. It accompanies a longer upload presenting Antetokounmpo's scoring highlights from his Heat debut against Minnesota.

Giannis is not the channel's only attraction from that day's uploads. A Luka Dončić half-court shot and his scoring highlights from the Lakers' season-opening win over Golden State are also drawing unusually fast audiences. NBA Europe has posted another angle of the long-range shot, too, with a courtside-style view billed as the "best seat in the house."
