Why this story? The channel passed the 100,000,000 views mark.

Last To Fall WinsLast To Fall Wins

What happens when MrBeast has to survive his own elimination game? In "Last To Fall Wins," he ends up defending his footwear rather than declaring someone else's defeat.

The Short puts him and three other competitors on a slippery surface around a foam pit. Holding connected ropes, they try to pull each other into the hole while keeping their own footing. There is little room for a recovery: a slide toward the middle means elimination.

Posted a week ago, the video has passed 100 million views. That milestone comes alongside a much broader burst of activity for the channel, which added nearly a million subscribers in a day, far above its usual pace.

But the appeal here is smaller and sillier than the elaborate competitions MrBeast often hosts. The field narrows until he faces the woman in yellow, then a loose shoe becomes his explanation for falling into the pit. "I started slipping when my shoe came off!" he protests. Her answer: "Excuses."

Viewers are picking up on the role reversal of the host becoming a contestant, while a departing hat has acquired its own running joke in the comments. There are also requests for a rematch, giving MrBeast another chance to settle the footwear question.
