Ultimate Custom Night at 50/20, played as a game of Battleship, on MrWigglesworth
David Baron and Eclipscycle have to survive the hardest setting in Five Nights at Freddy's to earn their shots, on a channel that turns FNAF into game shows.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 145,238 views a day, 10 times a normal day (14,378).
Among the let's-play and variety channels nearest its size, MrWigglesworth is the one far off its usual pace. Zealous Chuck is running a little above its normal day, while RadJunk and RaidAway+ sit below theirs. MrWigglesworth, meanwhile, drew close to 150,000 views in a single day, about ten times what the channel usually sees.
The newest upload explains a lot of what the channel does. In "I Forced YouTubers To Play UCN 50/20 Battleship," posted on Tuesday, David Baron and Eclipscycle face off over a Battleship grid. They earn their marks by playing Ultimate Custom Night, Scott Cawthon's 2018 Five Nights at Freddy's game, on 50/20, the setting that sends all fifty animatronics in at full difficulty. The video already has about 140,000 views, though it is not clear how much of this day's rush it accounts for.
It fits a pattern. MrWigglesworth builds game shows out of the series: a FNAF World I-SPY with ASTRALSPIFF, JonnyBlox and TheDapperWaffle, a FNAF World GeoGuessr billed as "the hardest challenge yet," and a GeoGuessr round set in the fan game Frickbear's 3. That I-SPY episode from September is still the channel's most watched of the recent run.
UCN goes back to the very start of the channel. Its first video, "How A 7 Month Old Baby beat UCN," starred the creator's daughter, Piper. In a later upload he explains that she said her first words during it, while he was too busy with the animatronics to notice.
