Six days old, "Vampire slayer's new technique" was Matt Storer's one new video of the week, and it follows his usual recipe: a short comedy scene sung to a song everyone already knows. This time the song is "Bad Blood," the Taylor Swift single from her 1989 album, whose title does a lot of the joke's work on its own when the villain is a vampire.

It is not the busiest video on the channel, though. "My wife is home," set to Bon Jovi's "It's My Life" and only a couple of days older, is gathering views at roughly twice the slayer's pace. Nearly two weeks on, "A totally normal customer," built on Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love," has passed ten million views and sits between the two.

The channel as a whole ran slower than its usual daily pace. Subscribers still arrived at around ten thousand a day. That cooler stretch was shared across the comedy sketch channels near his size: Nisha Noelle and 1980sGamer were both below their norms, and Alicia Sicz and Danny Rayes had quieter weeks still.
