Canapés, Burmese cooking and Curtis Stone: MasterChef Legends reaches its finale

Right after the last course, the channel started MasterChef USA Season 10 with three returning champions in the kitchen.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

MasterChef World spent most of its fifteen uploads finishing a season. The final episodes of MasterChef USA: Legends, Season 11 on the American show, arrived one a day. First came Ludo Lefebvre's French bistro challenge and a cookalong with chef Naisha Arrington, then the culinary triathlon with Susette Gresham's squid ink risotto and a contestant who, the description says, tipped their food into the chef's strainer.

Then the finale, in two parts. Autumn, Suu and Kelsey opened with a surprise canapé round and appetizers drawing on Japanese influences and Burmese traditions. They served them to Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, Joe Bastianich and guest judge Curtis Stone, the Australian chef many viewers know from his own cooking shows. The closing episode, entrée and dessert with $250,000 on the line, is the newest of the run and the quickest of the week's long uploads to gather views.

The channel did not wait long to start the next season. Season 10's first episode, billed as the biggest season yet, brings back champions including Christine Ha, Jennifer Behm and Shaun O'Neale, and a day after going up it was keeping pace with the finale. The fastest video of all, though, is a short titled "Better Than the Dish in My Restaurant!"

Among the reality and game show channels nearest MasterChef World in size, Sidemen Productions is having the standout stretch, running at many times its usual daily pace. Love Island and Keeping Up With The Kardashians are both busier than normal, and Game Changer Shorts is a little quieter.
