Sienna Spiro's 'Die On This Hill' keeps Lyrical Lemonade playing on film
Cole Bennett shot the London singer's video on Kodak film eight months ago, and it has passed eleven million views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
SIENNA SPIRO - Die On This Hill (Official Music Video)
Lyrical Lemonade posted nothing new, and the music videos already on the channel kept it busy without help.
The one doing the most is not a rap video at all. "SIENNA SPIRO - Die On This Hill (Official Music Video)" went up about eight months ago and has passed 11 million views. Cole Bennett, who founded Lyrical Lemonade and made his name directing videos for Chicago rap, directed it, and the credits say it was shot on Kodak film with a London crew. The tags call it black and white and cinematic. It shows a director who built his name on bright, cartoonish rap clips taking on a quiet pop ballad.
The newer work is closer to home. Ice Spice and Lil Yachty's "Out My Face," a month old and directed by AMD and Little Miles, is the second-busiest video on the channel. Behind it is "FØURS," diamond*'s track with Young Thug, less than two weeks old and close to a million views, with Bennett listed as executive producer.
With 24 million subscribers, Lyrical Lemonade has more than any other channel in its group of music labels and music media, Vevo included. The busy weeks belong elsewhere: MTV is running at several times its usual daily views, and BBC Radio 1 has roughly doubled its pace.
