Ghosts and bats give LukeBuildsWatches a Halloween Casio
His only new upload swaps the AE-1200's resin case for black metal as the channel passes 100 million total views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Big Watch Hates This
LukeBuildsWatches turned a Casio AE-1200 into a seasonal accessory, adding ghost, pumpkin and bat decals and replacing its standard resin housing with a black metal case. "Big Watch Hates This" is the playful title, but the project itself is a specific little makeover rather than an industry exposé.
The week's only upload reached about 24,000 views. In the comments, viewers are offering design variations: a negative main display to complete the Halloween look, or a haunted house positioned so the bats appear to fly away from it. Others ask about a Christmas version and suggest aviation or Formula 1 themes. One viewer describes a blue-gradient AE-1200 modification of their own, inspired by Luke's work.
The older builds are bringing in considerably more daily viewing. "Casio's Newest Watch is Crazy!", featuring a W221H with a red screen filter, is the strongest draw right now. "A Rookies Guide to Casio Modding" follows with a reversible green-filter project that needs neither glue nor soldering. "Bulky Casio Glow Up" takes a different approach, giving a WS1700H a matte metal case and brown leather strap to explore its dress-watch potential.
Across the library, weekly views topped a million, carrying LukeBuildsWatches past 100 million total views. Subscribers grew modestly, while today's viewing is above its usual daily pace. Among nearby DIY channels, John Dolechek also had a substantial viewing week; From House To Home DIY was much quieter. For Luke, the distinctive combination is a fresh seasonal design alongside older tutorials that keep the practical details of watch customization in circulation.

I think a haunted house type thing would be better instead of the ghost in that area

I like the seasonal watch idea. It will be a stand out for those who notice it. I would love to see a F1 edition 😍. But like you made with the Cherry Blossom Royale [AE1200]. Believe me i have some ideas 💡. Hopefully it come alive in the Future 1 day.
