There’s a Trick to Climbing This Staircase 😳

Holding the red railings doesn't quite solve the problem. Visitors trying to walk up this staircase keep losing their footing, because the steps beneath them won't cooperate.

The attraction in lucyfforbes' compilation has two sides moving in opposite directions. The trick isn't to climb faster: it's to switch sides in rhythm, stepping onto the rising section as the other descends. After a succession of awkward attempts, a woman demonstrates the alternating steps, followed by a visitor in an orange hoodie making a smooth ascent.

Posted five days ago, the clip has added roughly 306,000 views in a day, more than five times its usual daily pace. That's a fresh burst for the staircase we mentioned alongside the channel's barely-melting ice cream video, as we reported here.

The explanation hasn't settled every question in the comments. Some viewers focus on timing; others want to know why anyone would build stairs like this in the first place. It's an attraction that turns an ordinary movement into something visitors have to learn again, one sideways step at a time.
