The rhinestones could wait. Tiffany Toh wore her birthday thrift flip out for drinks without finishing the skirt's embellishment, giving her latest sewing project a very real deadline: the celebration itself.

On littletoh, the outfit has unfolded through shopping, beading and a familiar maker's wobble. Tiffany started with a secondhand silk dress and asked viewers whether to keep it as a dress or turn it into a matching set, taking inspiration from Prada pieces. After spending two days adding beads, sequins and rhinestones, she admitted she still couldn't decide whether she liked the result.

By the birthday outing, it was ready enough to wear. Her October 15 post says the skirt's rhinestones didn't make the deadline, with the full making process still to come.
