Among the food channels nearest Koreanosh in size, the clear busy stretch belongs to Addie Bowley, running well above her usual daily pace, while Tasting History with Max Miller is a little ahead of normal and FutureCanoe and Calfreezy are a touch quieter. Koreanosh, the self-described "2nd Best British YouTuber in Korea," spent the week doing what the channel does best: eating, and ranking what it eats.
Six uploads went up. The newest, "30 Years of ONLY Eating Food From a Korean Convenience Store!", is the one moving fastest. It gathered more than 150,000 views in its first day and is now past 200,000. The premise is a stretch, of course. Korea's corner shops, with their triangle kimbap, instant ramen and microwave meals, are a fixture of the channel, and this time they get the full challenge treatment.
It keeps good company. "Only Eating Brazilian Convenience Store Food!", from eleven days earlier, has passed a million views and is still drawing well. Maybe convenience stores, in any country, are the channel's most dependable subject?
The rankings did their part too. "Ranking The BEST Korean Fried Chicken Flavor!" is the week's biggest total at about 640,000 views, while "Ranking Donuts on a Stick!" is picking up pace behind it. In between came a tray of homemade brownies, a $500 face-off between king crab and A5 Wagyu, and a lighter idea that let kids' toys choose the menu.
