"She protected her food 😳😭" went up on September 29 and is now past five and a half million views. Going by the comments, the joke is a mix-up: a man points out a woman to someone he knows, and she guards her meal against what she takes for a stranger. Many viewers had the same idea at the same moment, calling it a best-friend prank that caught an innocent bystander. Some admit they would have been just as alarmed in her place, and a small side thread turns to the waiter's outfit.
Three more shorts went up, each with a two-word plot twist in its title. "He played it off so well 😳😂" had the biggest first day of the week, a little ahead of the food clip, but slowed afterward. "She was mad until… 😳😂" is only hours old and already running at a strong clip, and a twelve-day-old short, "She's got the best friends 😂❤️," past 21 million views, is still drawing a big daily crowd. Friendship is clearly the running theme.
The channel, which bills itself as a home for kind and wholesome moments, added 30,000 subscribers in seven days, while daily views ran a little under their usual level. Among similar-sized clips channels, only Mindova drew more views over the week, and Polar Ranks is running at well over twice its normal pace.
