How do you make a fishing lure you can see straight through? Kendall Gray has turned the question into a series. "I Created Crystal Clear Fishing Lures!" reached its second and third parts this week, both carrying the #Jesus and #GrayGang tags that sign off so many of his titles.

Part two, posted on September 25, did the heavy lifting. It passed 800,000 views in its first six days and is still moving at a strong daily clip. Part three followed three days later and has started more gently. Perhaps some viewers are still catching up on the earlier installments before they get to the newest one?

The busiest video on the channel right now is not about lures at all. "Spiderman vs 50 Caliber Sniper!", posted a month ago, is close to seven million views and is still drawing at about the same daily pace as the new lure video. A string-and-prize game, "Cut the Rope, win the prize!", from the same week, is still turning over steadily behind them.

It is a fair picture of a channel whose about text admits a preference for hunting over fishing: the fishing series is drawing well, and the rifle is still doing plenty.

Among the outdoors and fishing channels around him, the standout this week is LouisianaCrawfishCo, running well above its usual pace, and Mav is having a lively stretch too. BlacktipH and Shafikul Garden are quieter than normal. Kendall Gray sits third by subscribers in that group, at about 4.6 million.
