What did Milo get up to? Three new shorts went up, each with a title that sounds like the cat dictated it. There was a birthday billed as the best ever, a turn as "Milo the mastermind," and a newer one with a simple rule: "Everyone must like cats."
That last one moved fastest. It drew close to half a million views on its first day and is now the busiest video on the channel, running well ahead of the birthday short and the mastermind short from earlier in the week. Both of those have passed a million and a half views.
The older catalog has not gone quiet. "Anxiously attached," posted about six weeks ago, is past 38 million views and still nearly as busy each day as the newest upload. "Always so dramatic" is a week older and close to 26 million. Milo's moods, it seems, keep finding new viewers long after the title goes up.
The channel is drawing more each day than it usually does, roughly a quarter above its normal pace. Among the pet channels nearest it in size, The Reptile Zoo is having the standout stretch at more than twice its usual daily views. Adria and Oatmeal and Brighter Paws are quieter than normal, and Xiro Ranks is drawing the most views of the group, much as it usually does.
The about text promises only that Jared and Milo are living their best lives, and the shorts keep to that promise one sentence at a time.
