Dinner gets a referee in Jake Rasmussen's new sketch
His only new upload is a TUMS ad, complete with a yellow card for a double-cheeseburger order.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
when TUMS referees your dinner
Ordering dinner apparently requires a rulebook in Jake Rasmussen's "when TUMS referees your dinner." His only new upload of the week is a sponsored comedy sketch for the antacid brand, and viewers have been picking out the referee's attempted fry grab and Jake's drawn-out pronunciation of salad.
The Short has reached roughly 136,000 views. Several commenters are also discussing how the sponsorship fits into his comedy, rather than just the dinner-table officiating.
Elsewhere, a good grade remains an excellent excuse to tamper with history. "changing the course of history just to get a good grade #loop" was already the channel's busiest video when we last wrote about Jake. It remains so, now past 14 million views and drawing substantially more daily viewing than "a cop interrogation that breaks Google #loop."
Jake added subscribers over the week, while daily channel viewing is close to its usual level. Among nearby sketch-comedy channels, Danny Rayes and Matt Storer had particularly substantial weeks for views; Caleb Natale's daily viewing is quieter than usual.
The newer "i bought a mirror that reflects different locations #loop" also remains active. It extends a very Jake-specific shopping habit: buying mirrors that do practically anything except give him an ordinary reflection.
