Old tech gets another turn with jacksepticeye's Restory return

His only new upload revisits the repair game, with a favorite console providing the episode's focus.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

So Relaxing...

The repair bench reopened. jacksepticeye posted just one video this week, "Fixing My Favourite Console | Restory - Part 2," returning to the game about fixing old technology. It has reached roughly half a million views and is currently the channel's most active upload.

The gap between episodes became part of the conversation: one viewer says they bought and finished the game while waiting for the continuation. Others are answering Seán's question about what they do while watching these longer playthroughs. College work, writing, snacks and decompressing on the couch all feature in the replies. For some, this is the main attraction; for others, it is company while they do something else.

Restory also has a second foothold in the channel's viewing: the original "EXTREMELY SATISFYING | Restory," posted nearly two months ago, remains among its most active videos. Between the two repair episodes sits "Happy Wheels is on STEAM?", another return to familiar territory, now past 6.7 million views.

Across the channel, daily viewing is about a third above its usual pace, while the subscriber count stayed unchanged over the week. Markiplier had a particularly substantial week in this let's-play and variety group; DanTDM had a smaller viewing total but is also getting more daily views than usual. For jacksepticeye, the fresh activity centers on a continuation whose description sounds almost as surprised as its waiting viewers: another episode of Restory.
