I bought books for Florence Pugh and Mike Faist

Hand an actor a novel, and perhaps you're also handing them a future role. That's the possibility one viewer raises beneath Jack Edwards' only new upload, "I bought books for Florence Pugh and Mike Faist": a recommendation finding its way into the hands of someone who could bring it to the screen.

For now, they're simply thoughtful gifts. Edwards matches Faist with Lily King's Heart the Lover, drawing on the love-triangle territory of Challengers and East of Eden. Pugh gets Rebecca Perry's May We Feed the King, chosen for her interest in food and complex characters, with its historical banquet re-creations providing the connection. "Thank you for thinking of us," she tells him.

The clip has reached roughly 334,000 views and carries the strongest daily momentum among his active uploads. Readers are adding Pugh's recommendation to their lists, asking Edwards to choose something for them, and sharing accounts of buying books from his earlier recommendations. The celebrity encounter doubles as a reading queue.

His older gift exchanges remain busy too: Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock's installment is the next most active, followed by Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin and Margaret Qualley's.

Edwards added 10,000 subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Among nearby reading channels, Audible had the larger weekly viewing gain, while Nerd of the Rings had an unchanged subscriber count. Edwards' particular contribution to the bookshelf remains wonderfully literal: arriving at interviews with books in hand.

I've literally purchased 10 books in the last few weeks after subbing & reviewing past recs. Luckily most I've found on secondhand online sites. On behalf of my heart (not my wallet), thank you Jack!
