A Voice So Good, Danny Has To Duet With Him! | The Voice - S9 Ep.6
"A Voice So Good, Danny Has To Duet With Him!" is the newest clip from The Voice UK on ITV's official channel, and the title tells the whole story: a singer impressive enough that McFly's Danny Jones stopped judging and started singing along. It comes from the sixth episode of series nine, in which Kelly Rowland, once of Destiny's Child, joins will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones in the red chairs.
In less than a day it passed 15,000 views. The comments are mostly about the coaches. The most liked one says its writer will miss the Tom, Danny and Sir Tom double act next year. Another viewer congratulates Adam, apparently a coach who landed the singer, and a smaller argument has started over the act that closes the clip.
The rest of the week belonged to The Box, the game show hosted by Gary Lineker in which celebrities are shut inside a box and come out somewhere new to face a challenge. Episode six, "It's LIGHTS OUT on The Box!", went up a week ago and is close to 14,000 views. Episode seven, which puts a place in the final up for grabs, arrived on Sunday alongside The Voice.
The channel stayed close to its usual pace and added about a thousand subscribers. Among the British broadcasters near its size it was a calm week: Channel 5 and BBC Archive both ran well above their usual pace, while E4 was quieter than ITV.
