His one long video of the week, a Homebody Diaries chapter from the new midcentury home, also takes in Sea Ranch and Nya's Hawaii birthday trip.

Story of Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
bedroom setup, decorating our creek, building my own coffee table! | Homebody Diaries
Among DIY and home channels near his size, Eric Wang sits seventh by subscribers but second by views added over the seven days, behind only Kate_cleanhome. That gap says a lot about how his channel works: short clips from the new midcentury house travel far, and the long videos are where the regulars settle in.
The week's only upload was one of those long ones. "bedroom setup, decorating our creek, building my own coffee table! | Homebody Diaries" moves through a new bedroom, the creek that runs under the house, a getaway to Sea Ranch on the Northern California coast, Nya's birthday trip to Hawaii and, at the end, a coffee table he built himself, with credit in the description to a maker named Phill. The table is what the comments keep coming back to. One viewer sees the old house's kitchen counter in it, another is reminded of a Max Lamb cocktail table, and several are simply glad longform is back.
The shorts carry the momentum. A clip of plants hung on magnetic hooks along the house, now past four and a half million views, is still the busiest thing on the channel seven weeks on, and the shorter cut of the creek decorating, made with Walmart, has passed a million in ten days. Daily views ran a little below his usual pace, and the channel added about 2,000 subscribers.

What viewers say
This new house just keeps getting better and better every time! The coffee table kinda reminds me of the kitchen counter from the old house.

@ethanjamieson7764See it on YouTubei really love that the coffee table isn't perfect because it helps bring out the story behind it, which imo is a huge part of mid century/japandi/Scandinavian design
