Niklaus Prosper's beginner-versus-professional skating clip is more than a month old, but it is doing most of the work right now. It has passed five million views and is adding far more each day than either of his new uploads.
The New York ice freestyler posted twice this week, pairing a question about how different skaters enter the rink with a warning about things not to do on the ice. The warning drew the larger audience overall. Its comments have become a small exchange of rink experiences: one viewer says their hockey team sits on the boards before practice, while another remembers doing the listed things as a beginner.
The rink-entrance upload has a much smaller total audience, though it is currently adding views slightly faster than the warning. That gives the new pair their own little contrast alongside the much busier older comparison.
Across the channel, roughly 2.7 million views arrived over the week, and subscribers edged upward. That was a substantial viewing week among nearby sports channels, with Andrew Forde also busy and Braille Skateboarding Shorts quieter. For Niklaus, the biggest draw remains the gap between learning to skate and making it look practiced.
