Moldable putty, a concrete swan and 500 million views for HomeTransform

Seven uploads ran from a two-story Halloween skeleton to a bed built on stone pedestals, and the channel's total crossed half a billion views.

What does a channel that promises to rescue crumbling ruins post when it is not rescuing ruins? Mostly smaller miracles. HomeTransform put up seven videos, and the one that took off was the humblest: a run of fixes with moldable putty, patching a hole in drywall, rebuilding a chipped table corner, sealing a leaking pipe joint and saving a cracked toolbox. It passed 300,000 views in three days. Its description is upfront that the visuals and audio were made or modified with generative tools, and that is the point one of its busier comments makes too.

The rest of the week leaned toward the garden and the spectacular. A giant skeleton went up around a two-story house, its hands lifted onto the roof by crane so they seem to grip the walls, an early Halloween piece from the first of the month. A leopard statue got a modern makeover, a rusty water tower became a backyard retreat, and a couple whose bed leg snapped built a replacement on stone pedestals with lap-jointed timber. The newest, an inflatable swan float coated in concrete and turned into a working pond fountain, started faster than anything else that week except the putty video.

Older work kept moving as well. The balloon-and-hot-glue lampshades from mid-September are past 1.4 million views and still drawing a steady crowd.

All of it carried the channel over 500 million total views. It added about 2,000 subscribers to reach 477,000, with daily views right around their usual level. Among nearby DIY, building and home channels, none gathered more views over the week. Stick welder came closest, while Gavren Dochterman ran far below his usual pace.
