"Aliens in Australia | Ancient Aliens" is a clip from the long-running series about the theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth, and on the official HISTORY channel it is the video with the most pull right now. A day and a half after going up it had passed 235,000 views, most of them in its first 24 hours. The description is short and promises only a run of alien encounters and history down under.

It was a week heavy on the unexplained. HISTORY posted fifteen videos, and the most watched of them so far is an older-style Ancient Aliens compilation, "Gods & Aliens From Above," which follows Zeus to his so-called Dragon Houses and a secret cave, then takes in Delphi and Troy as places where the show's theorists see signs of visitors from above. It has passed 350,000 views. Around it sat a full special on supposedly reverse-engineered alien technology and a marathon of In Search of Aliens, the revival of the 1970s franchise hosted by Zachary Quinto, which detours to Bigfoot and the Roswell Rock.

Two uploads stepped outside the extraterrestrial theme. Counting Cars sent Danny "The Count" Koker and his Las Vegas crew after a '62 Chevy and a Yenko Nova tribute. And the first episode of History's Greatest Mysteries, narrated by Laurence Fishburne, returned to the 1971 skyjacking by the man known as D.B. Cooper, with researcher Eric Ulis presenting the spot where he believes Cooper landed. It is the channel's third-busiest video at the moment.

Among the TV networks of similar size, HISTORY ranks third by subscribers, at about 15.5 million. Prime Video, BBC, Comedy Central and Adult Swim are all running well above their usual pace this week.
