Golfslump finds a good score in an ugly round
Six uploads pair swing checkpoints and tempo lessons with a round that broke 70 despite the bad shots.

This is How To Play DISGUSTING Golf and Still Break 70...
Golfslump spent much of the week talking about how to swing better, then offered a useful counterpoint: sometimes the score looks better than the golf felt. In "This is How To Play DISGUSTING Golf and Still Break 70...", he describes bad swings, bad shots and little that felt comfortable, yet a finish below 70. The distinction between swinging well and scoring well gives the week's technical lessons a little perspective.
The largest new audience went to "Did you notice this? 👀🤔 # #golfswing #golf #golftips #golfcoach", which reached about 189,000 views. Its comments became a practical discussion of the downswing: one viewer focuses on where the club's grip points at hip height, another discusses keeping the trail elbow lower, and a third asks whether the lead arm should leave the drill's rod approaching impact. These are golfers working through the details, not just collecting tips.
Driver impact and smooth tempo supplied further lessons, while a Tiger-themed upload framed breaking 80 around five rules. The newest club challenge has the strongest daily momentum right now. An older full-swing checkpoint remains a substantial draw too, alongside the new tempo lesson.
Across the library, Golfslump added roughly 925,000 views, with subscribers unchanged. Its current daily viewing is above its usual pace. Nearby, Golf on CBS had a slightly larger viewing week, while The Good, The Bad & The Rugby was quieter. For Golfslump, the interesting contrast is within its own uploads: precise swing work on one side, an imperfect round with a perfectly respectable score on the other.

Everything takes time to perfect. Practice is SOOOOOOOOOO important for consistency. I practised from dawn till dark everyday for a year, my handicap went from 18 to 7 ! (I was 17 though)
@damienmerrett7458See it on YouTubeGetting steep is really hard to overcome. I've been working really hard of trying to keep my trail elbow lower than my left arm all the way into impact, but this drill is something I will do. Thanks for sharing
@rackum44See it on YouTube@golfslump My left (lead) arm wants to come off the rod just after club parallel as I'm coming into impact. And I'm doing it slowly. Is this common and or okay?

What this illustrates clearly is when making the downswing keep the butt of the club pointing at the target when your hands reach hip level.
