Samuel Alito's 'stress test' and a president's second thoughts on the Supreme Court

The justice sat down with Shannon Bream to talk about the cases he found most difficult, on the same Sunday David Spunt reported Trump's complaint about his own picks.

Sunday on Fox News Clips belonged to the Supreme Court, from two directions at once.

In one clip, Justice Samuel Alito sits with Shannon Bream and walks through what he calls the most difficult cases of his time on the bench. The description lists abortion and the pandemic among the subjects, and the tags point to the Dobbs leak. His phrase for the period, a "stress test" of constitutional rights, became the title. In another, justice correspondent David Spunt tells Fox News Sunday about President Trump's midterm rallies and his remark that the justices he chose vote against him too often. That clip drew the most views of the week's new uploads. Its comment section is mostly an argument about whom a justice owes loyalty to.

The rest of the fifteen uploads leaned toward November. A Fox & Friends Weekend panel of Hispanic voters talked about cost of living, the border and schools. Senators Ashley Moody and Dave McCormick each warned about socialism. And a WashU Law AI expert, Oliver Roberts, reacted to an OpenAI safety leader who resigned and called the company's culture broken.

It added up to a strong week. Among the nine news channels of similar size, only DRM News gained more views, and on its latest day this channel was running at more than twice its usual pace. Subscribers moved more gently, up about 2,000.
