A million subscribers for Floydson, one fully finished game at a time
The Australian player's run of 100% completions, from Horsey Game to Graveyard Keeper 2, carried him across the line between uploads.
Why this story? The channel passed the 1,000,000 subscribers mark.
Floydson has a simple promise, and he puts it in nearly every title: "I Played 100% of" a game, not a taste of it, not a first hour, but the whole thing, every achievement included. That promise has now brought his channel to a million subscribers.
The last few months show the routine. Horsey Game in June, billed in its description as the funniest game ever, with a title about breeding abominations. Then the stick-figure western West of Loathing, the jungle survival of Green Hell ("kind of brutal," he wrote), the card-game horror of Inscryption, and finally Graveyard Keeper 2, which he called a glorious return to unhinged chaos and delicious zombies. That last one has passed 2.3 million views and is still the channel's biggest recent video.
The milestone did not come on a busy day. There has been no new upload since Graveyard Keeper 2 in late September, and the channel's daily views are running below their usual level. The subscriber count kept climbing anyway, a sign that the back catalog of finished games does its own work between releases.
He arrives in a small group of let's-play channels sitting just above the million mark, alongside DougDougDoug and Two Much Grian. The tags on every video still carry the same word next to his name: aussie.
