Tyrique George bends his shot past Ben White, and for a moment it looks headed for the corner. David Raya reaches across to tip it wide, preserving Arsenal's lead and denying Everton one of their clearest openings.

Everton's official highlights of the two-goal defeat reached about 65,000 views in seven hours, already well beyond the usual full-day audience for the club's short uploads. The package has chances at both ends, rather than simply a replay of Arsenal's goals.

A crowded corner brings the opener, with Ezri Konsa bundling the ball home. James Garner tests Raya with a deflected effort, while White later sends a defensive header backward that requires his goalkeeper to dive in ahead of Thierno Barry.

Arsenal's second comes from a White cross headed home. Everton still have a late opening, but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall heads Garner's delivery narrowly wide.

In the comments, team selection and midfield defensive cover are talking points. Some supporters argue for different options around the attacking players; others urge patience with David Moyes after the trip to Arsenal.

What viewers say

  • Arsenal are just too good for everyone, let’s not sweat this loss. We will get back to winning ways next game. In Moyes we trust 💙💙 ....
  • Despite an arsenal's fan I respect you guys, don't worry you will bounce back and win 5 games straight without any draw, always win. Even if you have to draw it's after that 15 points, i wish you all the best in all your remaining fixtures excluding Arsenal, i won't wish you well against Arsenal 😂😂😂

  • i thought it was a poor lineup by moyes. Imo it should’ve been dibling off the right and rohl or noorgard for harrison. love the lad but we don’t get the best from jimmy or keirnan with him as the midfield just doesn’t have enough defensive coverage. onto newcastle where we can hopefully pickup some points
