Chunk's keyboard-sized comeback passes a million for Evan and Katelyn

Their resin pumpkin project turns a heavyweight workshop creation into miniature keycaps, with two separate molds needed for the job.

DIY Resin Pumpkin Keycaps (3000 of them…)

Evan and Katelyn posted nothing new this week, but baby Chunk had plenty to do. "DIY Resin Pumpkin Keycaps (3000 of them…)" has reached roughly 1.1 million views and is drawing the most daily views of any upload on the channel right now.

The starting point is their enormous resin-preserved pumpkin, Chunk. Shrinking him takes more than a smaller mold: they test which direction his face should point, mount prototypes on a keyboard and discover that the keycap's beveled edge hides the forward-facing version. Looking upward turns out to be the practical choice for a pumpkin with typing duties.

Then the workshop equipment contributes its own complications. A vacuum gauge loops past its limit, and an air compressor fails during curing. Between those setbacks, Katelyn's dad calls with a parental observation about another experiment: "Playing with fireballs, I see." The miniature pumpkins eventually emerge ready for their hand-painted faces.

The channel added nearly 900,000 views over the week, with its subscriber count unchanged. Daily viewing is currently below its usual level. Among nearby DIY channels, RUDAN BROTHERS had a growing week, while MatthiasWandel also recorded no subscriber change.

Behind Chunk, "We Turned AI Slop Into Real Keyboards (feat. Safiya Nygaard)" continues drawing viewers to its ice, sponge and water builds. The nearly year-old "Can We Preserve a Pumpkin with FIRE & RESIN?" is another busy upload: Evan and Katelyn's pumpkin experiments have a life beyond the latest casting.
