The goalkeeper dives, but Lamine Yamal takes the ball with him. By the time he rolls it into the empty net, Barcelona's training session has supplied ESPN UK with a miniature solo-goal highlight.

The Short, credited to FC Barcelona's Instagram account, follows Yamal from receiving the ball through a series of quick changes of direction. Teammates close in; he slips past them, cuts into the penalty area and rounds the keeper. Shouts from around the pitch provide the soundtrack.

It had drawn roughly 47,000 views in 14 hours, already several times ESPN UK's usual full-day audience for a Short. This is club training footage shared by the broadcaster, rather than a match highlight.

Other unusually strong starts on the channel include a Pep Guardiola-Enzo Maresca Short and a question about whether Real Madrid would be better without Vinícius Júnior. Yamal's contribution needs no studio argument: the footwork, and the finish, are the whole clip.
