Fifteen shorts and the biggest week in the room for El Michelle
The 18-year-old's lifestyle channel added more than three and a half million views in seven days, and her newest short, 'Everyone is so gorgeous,' is already moving fastest.

BOW
Yesterday's story here was about the nails. 'BOW,' the short where El Michelle turned out to be painting them herself, had viewers asking since when she does that, as we reported here. A day on, it has passed 185,000 views and is still among her quickest movers. The comments have also found a second subject: the transition, which a whole row of viewers simply call smooth.
But 'BOW' was one of fifteen uploads in seven days, and the newest has taken over. 'Everyone is so gorgeous' went up on Tuesday and, nine hours in, was gathering views faster than anything else on the channel. Close behind it is 'This is a joke no one get mad,' a title that asks for patience in advance. Earlier in the week came 'This is funny,' 'Jeez Derek' and 'I like this remix,' short titles in the offhand way her about page talks, an 18-year-old sharing good days and bad ones.
All of that adds up to a busy channel. Daily views are running well above her usual pace, and over the week she gained more views than any of the reaction and commentary channels close to her size, KSI+ and Farrell McGuire included. Farrell McGuire had the bigger subscriber week, though. El Michelle added about a thousand, and that leaves 700,000, the next unchecked goal on her about page, still a little way off.
