A knockoff Stark Varg and a test of everything keep Edwin Olding busy

The Grind Hard Plumbing Co. owner posted nothing new, and an 80-day-old video titled "Have I tested Everything?" sits past seven million views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

What do Edwin Olding's viewers watch when the plumber takes a week off from his side channel? Mostly the summer's experiments.

This is the channel he describes as a place for short movies about his passions outside Grind Hard Plumbing Co., the business most people know him from, and no new movie went up over the past seven days. The shelf did the work instead. "Have I tested Everything?", posted 80 days ago, is past seven million views and still draws the most new viewers each day.

Close behind it, and with far fewer views to its name, is "I Bought a FAKE Stark Varg". The description explains the premise: Edwin went looking for an electric dirt bike built as a copy of the Stark Varg, the Spanish electric motocross machine, and his friend Alek, of the channel Idabro, gets a mention. For a video past 850,000 views, it is pulling in almost as many daily viewers as the seven-million one. Further back, "I Bought the Cheapest Flying Surfboard" keeps a smaller, steadier audience.

Without a new upload, the channel ran at about half its usual daily pace, and subscribers barely moved. Among the motorbike and off-road channels near its size, only Live The Dash and DirtFish added more views over the week, and most of the group was running below its usual pace too, from Axell Hodges to NASCAR on FOX.
