Dr Insanity examines a child's death and the investigation afterward
The channel's only new documentary follows police questioning and evidence about access to a fatal substance.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

A child's death is the starting point for Dr Insanity's only new upload, which follows investigators trying to establish how a young boy gained access to the substance that killed him. The documentary includes police questioning and examines evidence of earlier overdoses and alleged pill trafficking. It contains a sponsored segment.
The upload has reached about 3.2 million views and is the channel's busiest video by daily viewing. One issue raised in the comments concerns the editing: viewers question the decision to censor the substance's name, arguing that naming it would help communicate the danger.
Older investigations also remain prominent. A documentary connecting a disappearance with a traffic stop is the next-largest daily draw among the channel's busiest uploads. Another revisits a South Carolina quadruple homicide and the investigation reopened years afterward.
Dr Insanity added about 30,000 subscribers over seven days. Its weekly views were higher than MrBallen's and 48 Hours', while Law&Crime Network had a larger viewing week. The daily picture is quieter: Dr Insanity's current viewing pace is well below its usual level, even as the new documentary remains its strongest active draw.
