Among comedy sketch channels of a similar size, Drew Talbert sits fifth of nine by subscribers, a middle spot that undersells how much his catalog gets watched. Gabriella Triple Charm, one of the few peers with a current figure, is running below her usual pace.

Two uploads, both from Bistro Huddy, the restaurant world he writes with his wife and co-creator Andrea Kelley and draws from his 23 years as a waiter. "New Character, Who Dish?" brings back Newton, who interviewed to be a dishwasher four years ago and, according to the description, recently begged for the job on the Family Meal livestream. Whether he got it is the whole question of the video. It passed two and a half million views within three days and is the channel's busiest video by a wide margin.

"The Stink Bomb" arrived three days earlier. Billed as based on a true story, kind of, it credits Chef Aaron Robins with the original burger of the title, and it is still drawing a steady crowd. Behind both, the two-week-old "F***in' Around When It's Slow: The Mumble Game" keeps finding viewers, a slow-shift pastime whose description is written, fittingly, in mumble.
