Zarbon in Kingdom Hearts: DevilArtemis sends Cell and Kermit through the Keyhole

A crash cost the creator part of the main episode's file, and the rescued version still became the week's most watched upload.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Perfect Cell Vs The HeartlessPerfect Cell Vs The Heartless

DevilArtemis spent the week in Kingdom Hearts. The channel's 3D parodies, which the about page says are animated by a human in Blender, usually send Perfect Cell and his odd crew into someone else's universe, and this time it was Square Enix and Disney's world of Keyblades and Heartless.

"Perfect Cell Vs The Heartless" led the week, passing 140,000 views in its first day. It nearly didn't exist in this form. In a pinned comment, the creator explains that a crash wiped out data blocks and only this file could be recovered, so he apologizes in advance for the render errors. The comments barely mention them. They are about Zarbon, Frieza's elegant henchman from Dragon Ball Z, who turns up with a beam and a habit of moaning at the worst possible moment. Viewers keep pointing to the 2:15 mark, and several are taking notes on how to unlock the Ultima Weapon.

Kermit carries the rest of the run. He arrives in the Kingdom Hearts universe in "Cell Vs Kingdomhearts" and haggles with a Moogle over that same weapon in a short. Then the gang moved on: "Kermit Vs The Naruto Universe" went up on Saturday and is the channel's fastest video right now, followed by a short in which the Penguins demand to see the Hokage.

Seven uploads still left the channel's daily views below its usual pace, and subscribers held at 1.2 million. Among similar animation channels, Spacestation Animation Shorts and SmashBits Animations had the biggest weeks, and DevilArtemis came in third for views gained.
