DEATH BATTLE!'s Goku-Saitama meeting passes six million views
The animated crossover accompanies a sharp channel-wide surge, with MORØ directing the fight and Michael Kovach and Ryan Abedi voicing its combatants.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 4,791,251 views a day, 8.1 times a normal day (592,299).
DEATH BATTLE! drew roughly 4.8 million views in a day, around eight times its usual daily audience. Its Goku-Saitama episode, released on Sunday, has already passed six million views, while subscribers are arriving several times faster than usual too.
The matchup has had a deliberate buildup: separate uploads examined Goku and Saitama before bringing them together. As we reported here, the episode turns on the question of how fast Saitama's seemingly limitless strength can grow. The new development is the scale of the audience gathering around that release.
Behind the animated encounter is MORØ, credited with fight direction, animation and visual postproduction. Akairo-Senpay handles the Dragon Fist sequence, while Michael Kovach voices Goku and Ryan Abedi voices Saitama. The score, "Limit Breakers," is composed by Therewolf Media and performed with Brandon Yates.
Goku is familiar territory for the show: its original Superman encounter remains its most-watched regular upload. Saitama has his own established place here, too, through the show's Popeye matchup. This release brings those two strands of DEATH BATTLE!'s catalog into the same episode.
