my block buddies

CheapPickle's Minecraft companions have given viewers two things to discuss: whether they belong in the ordinary game, and why the sea pickles apparently missed the invitation.

"my block buddies" was the most-watched of his ten new uploads, reaching about 1.6 million views. The comments pick up on his joking parental framing of the block buddies, imagine ways to add companions to vanilla Minecraft, and draw nostalgic comparisons with older miniature-army mods. Several viewers also point out the missing pickle representation, a particularly fitting oversight for this channel.

"upgrade or lose" also passed a million views. Elsewhere on the upload shelf, "you grow," "interesting effects" and "random craft" kept the titles short and the premises tantalizingly spare. The newer "misfortune" is now drawing roughly the same daily audience as "my block buddies," making those two the channel's busiest uploads right now.

Across the channel, daily viewing is close to its usual pace, while the subscriber total grew over the week. GameGrumps and The Yogscast are having busier-than-usual viewing days among nearby variety-gaming channels; Let's Game It Out is quieter. CheapPickle's own week brought in about 20.5 million views, with the block buddies supplying its clearest new talking point.

This is so nostalgic, like the clay wars mod. It was so good to watch them fighting each others.
