Jon Bernthal Goes Fishing

Josh Jorgensen had no new uploads this week, but his offshore outing with Jon Bernthal gives BlacktipH viewers a recognizable guest to catch up with. The actor known for playing Frank Castle in The Punisher joins Josh for a day pursuing powerful fish, a different kind of physical assignment from his screen work.

"Jon Bernthal Goes Fishing" arrived just before this seven-day stretch and has reached roughly a quarter-million views. It is the second-busiest of the channel's videos by daily viewing, behind "$1 vs $100,000,000 Fishing Challenge," whose contrast between tiny budgets and a fleet of luxury fishing vessels remains a substantial draw.

BlacktipH brought in about 1.5 million views over the week without adding anything new. Subscribers held steady, while today's viewing is about half again as high as its usual daily pace. Elsewhere in its outdoors group, LifebyMikeG is also having a busier-than-usual day, while RAWWFishing is considerably quieter than its norm.

For a less familiar face and a much deeper destination, "Dropping Massive Baits 6000ft Deep for Giant Squid" continues drawing viewers four months after release. That expedition takes Josh to Tahiti aboard Sea Wolf with captain Tom Francis, searching not just for squid but also yellowfin tuna, dogtooth tuna and marlin.
