Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

PUT THAT AWAY BLUE

Alan Becker Clips had a modest week beside animation neighbors such as Spacestation Animation Shorts, which added subscribers while this channel's subscriber count stayed unchanged. But its daily views are now running at more than twice their usual level, with Blue featuring prominently in the new arrivals.

The official channel for excerpts from Alan Becker's animation posted five clips. "PUT THAT AWAY BLUE" was the week's most-watched upload, reaching about 41,000 views, followed closely by "SPIDER-BLUE." Those two also carry the strongest daily momentum, with "Nowhere To Go But UP" next.

The first of that pair makes room for a small kindness amid the Minecraft danger. Six stick figures flee arrow-firing skeletons, build their way upward and assemble a cobblestone resting platform. Once everyone is up, Blue shares sweet berries. Red, meanwhile, finds something worth investigating in Green's inventory: a trident.

Viewers are bringing their own character knowledge to the pause. Several return to Blue's recurring appetite for Nether Wart, while another asks whether Red just deflected an arrow bare-handed. The food and the escape each have their close observers.

"Surrounded" and "NEVER Dig Straight Down" complete the week's lineup. New uploads are doing the most visible work here: all three of the channel's currently busiest clips arrived during this five-video run.
